I know we never ever post, but since I am home early from work and Levi is on his way home I decided a quick post wouldnt hurt.

Levi has been very busy at work. Snow season is coming up so it means lots and lots of stuff to do. He went to Eddie's wedding a few weeks ago, and really did have the time of his life. He's insisting we go back to Canada next summer with everyone from the wedding so that I can meet everyone and so that he can enjoy the great time again.

I am in my last semester of school before I start my student teaching. The two classes I am taking are: teaching students with mild/moderate disabilities, and Communication, language and speech. I am learning a lot but, I am excited to get into a classroom in November. I'm not sure if we updated about this, but I got promoted at my job in May. I am now a "LEAD behavior tutor" Lots more reponsibililty and a whole lot more clients I am working with. I have a total of 10 kids on my caseload. They are most wide variety of kids ever! Some non-verbal, some verbal. 1 deaf. the range from ages 3 to 11, and their abilities are completely diverse. They keep me on my toes, since I am now training the tutors who have to work with them. I really do love my job, and I will be sad when I have to cut back when I start my student teaching in the fall.

In other news, Levi and I are loving Auburn. Although we both have a 30 minute drive to work everyday, we both believe its totally worth it. We have yet to figure out the situation with our propane tank, so we have been cooking on our camping stove for the last month. That means no oven! its been nuts but we are surviving. We've been spending lots of time in old town auburn at the shops and great restaurants. This couldn't be more perfect for us!
I will leave you with a few pictures.

Ari is seriously the biggest mama's boy ever. haha. this is how he sleeps before we get into bed.

This is the view from our back porch. Something like this might have been posted before, but we can never resist another chance to show off.

Before we moved, Levi came home one day to find Ari's head stuck on this ziptie jar.. Yes.. hes nuts.

Its been a while

So after 5 horriable years we are finally moving out of the crap hole named sacramento. We are moving up the hill towards Tahoe to a nice city called Auburn. Its about 30 miles out of sac and is at an elevation of 1210 feet and is 1.2 miles away from the river.
We move tomorrow!

This is the front of the house. it Looks like it has been added onto, becuase yes, there are two front doors.

New puppy

Hey all, so we have had zoe for about 9 months now. she loves the dog parks and going out to play with other dogs. the cats were getting a little sick of her trying to play with them and juping at dogs on the TV is so sad so we decided to get her a brother to play with. His name is Ari and they love each other. all they do is wrestel. And yes, he is a French bulldog, and his ears are coming up soon. The cartalage in his ears isnt stiff enough, but sometimes one or the other sticks up and we are sure it will happen soon

Christmas

I've decided that our New Years resolution is to update our blog more often. So in the spirit of New Years being 2 days away, here is an update!

Our christmas was busy but a lot of fun. Christmas eve, we left the kitties at home and headed up with Zoe to tahoe to meet my family. It was eventful and we were lucky that my brother got off work early. The next morning was Christmas and we woke up to tons of snow which Zoe loved.

Our cars in the morning

We left Tahoe around noon to head to the Reno airport to fly to Colorado. The trip was great. We went bowling, snowboarding, watched movies and ate a lot of great food. We left Sunday night and arrived back in sacramento at 11:30.

The next night we used our chipotle gift card from Jarom and Melissa. (this is us enjoying our burritos.)

Here are some more random pictures, mostly of Zoe.

Snow!

So we were finnaly able to take Zoe up to the snow for the first time for her. We were a liitle skeptical becuase she wont even walk outside if the ground is wet.. which makes it hard for her to got the bath room when it rains, but she loved it!

We also put up the christmas tree

We were only about 50- 100 feet off shore. and the cool thing is that this is almost how it is every were you go. These were in about 16 feet of water.

these sharks were bigger then me.

Hawaii

recently we went to Hawaii. (mom and dad... let me know where your going and I'll let you know what to do and what not to do)

anyways, we spent all our time on maui near lahina and kannapanli. I went snorkeling every day in the morning and in the afternoon. We did kayaking, drove around the island. Surfed. Went to a luau. and chelsey was stung by a jellyfish.

sea turtles are all over the place. we also saw 5 reef sharks. they were about 3 feet away and they were about 6ft long. I saw 2 octopus..octupi? one the size of a base ball and one the size of a duffel bag.

This was some botanical garden.

View from our luau. we were staying 2 miles up the because from here.

This was out beach in front of the time share.

This was a snorkel walk in spot on our beach. i saw the most sea turtles here and the most fish.
